Paired with Capacity Planning, Release Management, Roadmaps & Timeline for release forecasting, capacity and roadmaps, it gives Jira teams an Atlassian-only alternative to Aha! or Productboard.

Key facts
- Jira Product Discovery (JPD) charges for creators. Contributors are free users who need an Atlassian account.
- JPD covers the discovery half of product management: ideas, insights, prioritization and discovery roadmaps.
- Capacity Planning, Release Management, Roadmaps & Timeline covers the delivery half: Monte Carlo release forecasts (P50/P85/P95), team capacity, dependency maps, and (Advanced edition) a portfolio view and product roadmap timeline.
- Both run inside Atlassian, so there is no external sync to maintain.
What the full Atlassian-only stack costs
Assuming you already pay for Jira, the added cost of replacing an external product tool is JPD creators plus the Divim app on your Jira user tier.
| Scenario | JPD Standard (creators) | Divim Advanced | Atlassian-only total / year | Aha! Premium, same seats | Aha! Enterprise+, same seats |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 50-user Jira site, 5 product managers | $600 | $2,100 | $2,700 | $3,540 | $8,940 |
| 200-user Jira site, 10 product managers | $1,200 | $7,600 | $8,800 | $7,080 | $17,880 |
| 1,000-user Jira site, 10 product managers | $1,200 | $21,900 | $23,100 | $7,080 | $17,880 |
Against Aha! Enterprise+ (the Aha! plan with capacity planning), the Atlassian-only stack costs less at 50 and 200 Jira users. Against Aha! Premium it is cheaper at 50 users and slightly more at 200. On a 1,000-user Jira site with only 10 product managers, per-seat Aha! is cheaper on license cost, because the Jira app is licensed for every Jira user. Teams that need forecasting and capacity but not the portfolio view can use Divim Standard instead ($1,500, $5,500 and $16,800 at the same sizes). The Standard edition covers probabilistic release forecasting, capacity-aware planning, scope risk and dependency analysis. The Advanced edition adds the Portfolio view, the Product Roadmap timeline, multi-board and multi-product releases, multi-team assignment and overcommitment warnings (features by edition).
What JPD does not cover
JPD is not a delivery forecasting tool. It does not forecast release dates from throughput, model PTO, or flag overcommitted releases. That is the gap the Divim app fills on the Jira side. See Productboard alternative for Jira teams for how the two halves fit together, and Aha! pricing for a plan-by-plan breakdown.
If you are pricing Atlassian’s portfolio tier as well, see Jira Align Pricing 2026: The Strategy Collection Price and a Marketplace-App Alternative. Atlassian sells Jira Align in the Strategy Collection at $77,400 a year for 1–50 users and requires Jira Cloud Premium.
